Pelagic Beast Fishing Charters is looking for a reliable, experienced Captain to join our team for our very popular Kids Fishing Camp and weekday charters this upcoming season!
Position Details:
🗓 Monday through Friday
⏰ 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Norwalk / Greenwich, CT – Long Island Sound
Requirements:
✔️ Minimum US Coast Guard OUPV (6-Pack) License
✔️ Prior fishing and boat handling experience required
✔️ Must be professional, responsible, and safety-focused
✔️ Must enjoy working with children and creating a positive, fun environment
✔️ Strong knowledge of local waters and fishing techniques preferred
This is a great opportunity to spend your summer on the water, help teach the next generation of anglers, and be part of a respected and growing charter and camp program.

In loving memory of Luke Sorce 💙
It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of one of our summer campers, Luke Sorce, who tragically passed away at just 13 years old.
Luke was truly special. He was an avid outdoorsman and Boy Scout, with a deep love for nature and a passion for fishing. Whether he was casting a line, exploring the outdoors, or learning new skills, Luke felt most at home outside.
He was also an incredibly talented and dedicated athlete, proudly participating in football, basketball, baseball, and skiing. Luke approached everything he did with enthusiasm, determination, and a kind, adventurous spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone around him.
Luke’s energy, curiosity, and love for the outdoors will always be remembered within our camp community. He brought joy, laughter, and a genuine passion for life that touched so many.
To honor Luke’s memory and legacy, we are humbled to announce the creation of the Luke Sorce Memorial Scholarship. Each year, one camper will be given the opportunity to attend camp free of charge, with the recipient thoughtfully chosen by Luke’s parents in his honor. Through this scholarship, Luke’s love for fishing, the outdoors, and camp life will live on for years to come.
Our hearts are with Luke’s family, friends, fellow Scouts, teammates, and all who loved him during this unimaginably difficult time. Luke will forever be part of our camp family and will never be forgotten.
